In May 2009 the Mining and Quarrying Occupational Health and Safety Committee (MAQOHSC) agreed to become a three-year Diamond Sponsor of the Passport to Safety program

Corporate Health Group - Health Checks
Corporate Health Group on behalf of MAQOHSC, has for over 8 years been assisting Mining & Quarry companies reduce their employees' risk of heart disease and other conditions through simple health checks.

Clare Quarries
After a full plant audit, Clare Quarries revised their policies and procedures and made a number of key safety improvements.

New safety system in place
All plant has been risk assessed and production tasks were assessed using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedure. Hazards identified by these assessments have been added to the appropriate action plans.

First major project complete
The first quarry that we work with on a major project was a family-owned and operated business called Clare Quarries. Their project ran from May-October, 2007.
